Oregon sunstone is a true American gem. Discovered in 1980 at the Ponderosa mine in central eastern Oregon. It was officially designated the state gem in 1987. Sunstone occurs in a variety of colors from yellow, red, orange, green, blue-green and multicolor. This amazing multicolor sunstone flashes from blue-green to red/rose and pink.
