There are sapphires … and then there are Sapphires! Few people know that stunningly beautiful sapphires are found here in the United States. They are not found in large abundance as they can be found in places in Asia, but what they lack in volume, they make up in color. Unlike their “bluer” cousins, sapphires from Montana and Idaho have a softer color, often a cornflower blue or teal color that just speaks to the soul!
